The image was created for an ad for Willimantic Spool Cotton Thread in the 1890s. The illustrator was the popular Maud Humphrey. Such advertising ephemera was highly sought after back in those times, something that was highly collectible and treasured.

This image would be perfect for many creative projects, including DIY crafts, scrapbooking, web and graphic design, and more.
