Free Victorian Lady graphic, very feminine. This gorgeous image was a Victorian advertisement for Gloves. It’s a rare ad graphic. I paid quite a lot for it years ago. I’ve been collecting and studying antique ephemera for many years, and I’ve never seen it anywhere else. It would be perfect for so many design projects and DIY crafts, including printable projects, transfers, web design and more. I hope you find this graphic useful for your creation.

Free Victorian Trade Card Clipart

I’ve always appreciated the artwork in the Hills Brothers trade cards. They often featured lovely Victorian women with gorgeous hats that seemed to exemplify feminine grace and the grace of the era. They were a millinery company from New York, but also had salesrooms in New Orleans, St. Louis, and Paris. And the hats on their ads were illustrations of actual hats they sold. There is a write up on the back of this tradecard about the hat this lovely model wore. It says: “The hat shown upon the other side of this card will be one of the most popular shapes of the season.” At the top, in bold text it hails the World’s Fair in New Orleans, 1885. I can see how these ad cards would have been very effective in gaining them a loyal customer base.

This Hills Brothers illustration is one of my favorites from my collection so I wanted to share it with you. The colors are fabulous. I decided to leave the text on this one as it’s art in itself. I think it would be great for so many types of crafts and design projects. I hope you find a great use for it.

A free vintage girl in a big hat. This fabulous image is from a turn of the century postcard. It’s definitely one of my favorites. The hat and the colors are uplifting and lovely–it tran·scends a sense of spring or sunny days. You could use this image in all kinds of projects. Free Victorian Flower Girl Head Clipart

The perfect image to add to a collage or to use in another creative paper project.

This line of flower girl postcards, featuring a flower with a cute girl’s head and a floral boquet beneath, was created in the Victorian era with scrapbooking and other paper crafts in mind. These cards were much like die-cut images. People would eagerly collect them, cut the objects out and put them in their scrapbooks, attach them to letters and cards, and use them to embellish their home decorating projects.

Such vintage images are perfect for modern paper projects too…especially this one as I’ve already retouched and cut it out for you. I have more of these that I’ll add in the future.
